In an open letter sent today to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, the APG, a Working Group of the Canadian Council for International Co-operation of which Lawyers Without Borders is a member, expresses its profound concern with regard to the escalating crisis in Honduras and urges the Canadian government to take immediate steps and use all of the leverage at its disposal to ensure that the democratic order, respect for human rights and rule of law are restored in Honduras.
